SMIT Srl is a partner of the PREMANI PROJECT, which intends to develop techniques that can address the issue of predicting the operating characteristics of machines and systems, combining the analysis of quality (of the product) with that of efficiency (of the systems), in a context which is then described as Predictive Manufacturing.

The solutions developed belong to the field of Digital Manufacturing, providing for the creation of advanced tools for decision support, and hardware, infrastructural and algorithmic components.
